How many different types of electronic music are there?

Although it contains many sub-genres, electronic music is sometimes treated as an insignificant genre. It actually gets a bit confusing as many people use the term "electronic music" to refer to the type of electronic music we hear on maps: David Guetta, Calvin Harris, etc. although it is not like that

Electronica :

There is a great debate about whether the electronic music subgenre exists or not. many consider it a bad invention but others can appreciate differences and support this division 

I consider it isn´t a subgenre but its a curiosity

house 

 House music was the first form of electronic music as we know it today

 Formulated in the black neighbourhoods of Chicago in the 1980s

 was pioneered by young musicians who bought Roland TR-808s and other drum machines at pawn shops.

 House has remained popular ever since, with DJs from the genre’s heyday still playing festivals and selling out shows around the world, and classic tracks continuing to set dancefloors alight

 Subgenres include: Deep House, Acid House, Progressive House, Soulful House

Keeping the list chronological, techno was the second genre of electronic music to break through.

  is predominantly characterized by a repetitive and hard four on the floor beat which is generally produced for use in a continuous DJ set. 

  Originated in Germany in the early 1980s

Drum and bass, also known as drum ’n’ bass and D&B, is a subgenre of electronic dance music, or EDM, known for its fast breakbeats and heavy basslines. An outgrowth of the rave music scene in the United Kingdom during the 1990s, drum and bass anchored its sound around its rhythm section while folding in samples from other musical styles and synthesizer lines.

 

As with many forms of EDM, drum and bass produced numerous subgenres before appearing to run its course, at least from a commercial standpoint, by the start of the twenty-first century. However, the original tracks, and new material in the drum and bass vein, continue to support a devoted following in the UK and abroad

Hardcore techno, or simply hardcore, is a style of electronic music that originated in Germany in the late 1980s, being the Netherlands where it has enjoyed the greatest cultural and social impact. It is characterized by fast tempo, distorted rhythms and samples, all of them industrial in nature, and dissonant melodies.l

Gralla : The gralla is a wind instrument comprising a 30 cm long wooden tube that amplifies the sound produced by its double reed. There are two types of gralla, the seca (dry) and the dolça, (sweet) which are distinguished by their sound.

  

 

 tenora :The tenora is a double-reeded oboe-like wind instrument,, which was played across Europe from the Middle Ages up to the 17^th century. Since then it has envolved independently in Catalonia, where it has become one of the instruments most representative of indigenous music and the true star of the music for sardana dances.

 

 

 

 

 

diatonic accordion :The accordion is a wind instrument with hard metal reeds, bellows and a keyboard. There are two broad types of accordion today: the more primitive diatonic version and the more developed chromatic version. In folk music, especially music with roots in the Pyrenees,

sardanas The sardana is a traditional circular dance of Catalonia. A number of people made a circle holding their hands and looking to the center, dancing in circle left to right with a stable time, often slow and concentrated.

 bastoners The colles de bastoners are groups of dancers who perform balls de bastons, stick dances. The dance, understood to mean a whole series of dances using one stick or two, struck in time with music, can be found all round Cataluña
